Sitting in our comfortable coach, scrolling our Facebook feeds and watching the havoc in Tamil Nadu doesn't seem to give an answer to our questions about why are Tamilians protesting so intensely for Jallikatu. So I decided to get on the ground to check out myself. Let me give you a brief idea about the scenario here. Men and women dressed up in black, marching like ants in the narrow roads of India, sandwiched between closed shops, under scorching hot sun with slight cool breeze tickling the ears to get to the protesting ground located at Thamukam. Kids are seen wearing bull masks, teenagers in their motorbikes whistling, students carrying posters which says"We Support Jallikatu" and "Say No to PETA" showing their support for Jallikatu.
